6:00 PM Bible Study
FBC Fellowship Hall
August is shaping up to be an exciting month in the life of our church!
We invite you to join us as we begin a new Bible study designed to deepen
our faith, strengthen our understanding of God's Word,
and encourage meaningful fellowship.
This month, we will also gather around the Lord’s Table to observe the
Lord's Supper, remembering
Christ's sacrifice and celebrating the grace we share as His family.
We'll also enjoy a relaxing scenic cruise aboard the
Crystal Coast Lady—a wonderful opportunity to take
in the beauty of our coast while spending time together in Christian fellowship.
We hope you'll make plans to be part of these special opportunities as
we grow together in faith, friendship, and service.
We look forward to seeing you this August!

PASTOR'S CORNER
I am excited to announce that on Wednesday August 12th at 6:00 p.m.
we will be beginning Daily Seeds!
Daily seeds is a different kind of Bible study.
You will learn information about the Bible along the
way, such as its history, context, original languages, and
authors, but the goal is not education in nature.
The goal is transformation.
Daily Seeds is a proven discipleship resource that works.
Class members should read one chapter
from Romans every day for 6 days.
On the seventh day of the week, you will meet with your group to
share, pray, and encourage one another with insights or struggles
that group members encountered during the week's readings.
Each week encourages time to:
1. Hear the text
2. Respond to the text
3. Share insights and implications for discipleship
4. Share intentions for prayer and the week ahead
This study is designed to help us facilitate meaningful conversations, encourage spiritual reflection, and create a welcoming space where participants can grow in faith together. I offer you an invitation
through this book to journey with me and others to shift
the priority of your heart and mind.
Each day we will start with a biblical text.
We will invite the text to speak both the first
and the last word of our day.
We'll write some of the text for the day in a journal or on a
note card and make it a simple act of
worship to read it aloud each morning as the first word
of the day and also at the close as the last
word of the day.
And something tells me these “first - word - last - word -
God's - word” paths will find their way into tomorrow and
next week and next month and onward until they
have become part of our lives.
