At Family Promise of Carteret County, we believe every family deserves a
safe place to call home and a community that cares.
We are a faith-based, nonprofit organization dedicated to helping
homeless and housing-insecure families in our community
rebuild their lives with dignity, compassion, and hope.
Through the support of local churches, volunteers, and community partners,
we provide transitional housing, nutritious hot meals, life-skills training,
case management, and access to vital resources.
But most importantly, we offer encouragement and a network of
caring people who walk beside each family on their journey from crisis to stability.
Family Promise isn’t just about providing a bed for the night —
it’s about empowering families to overcome barriers, regain independence,
and create a brighter future. Our goal is to keep families together
during difficult times, helping parents find employment, secure
affordable housing, and build a sustainable path forward.
Every success story is a testament to the power of God’s grace,
neighbors helping neighbors, faith in action, and love made visible.
